Ah yes, I'm finishing up my master's, so job applications are looming and I'm terrified of so many things, to not write a good application, to not find a job that interests me, to bomb the interview, to get a job and then not know how to do it... But this attitude helps. Even if I do bomb an interview, there will be another one. Or I might have a good interview and still not get the job, even that's okay. It's all practice and eventually I will ace an interview and get a job, I just have to keep at it. Thanks for the boost! 🤗 And I think I'll apply to more jobs I don't 100% qualify for now 😅😂

Absolutely! Have you ever heard about that statistic where women apply to jobs when they are 100% qualified when men only apply when they are 60% qualified?

I'd heard about it before, but I couldn't remember the exact numbers. But keeping this in mind makes me realize I'm actually qualified to apply to plenty of jobs 😄

This is amazing and feels like exactly what I needed to read right now. Thank you Michelle!

I’ve recently decided on a whole career change, I had an interview last week which is for a job I would adore but we don’t find out until this Friday and I have an interview tomorrow afternoon for another job that seems it would suit me. Totally different to each other and totally different to my current role. I’m spending a lot of time and energy on worrying about failure and how I’m going to cope when I get rejected and picking myself back up so this felt so needed! 🥰♥️

One of the things my Dad's been teaching me from early childhood was: the only way to avoid making mistakes is to do nothing. Sometimes you fail, sometimes you succeed. Either way you're learning something new.
