The fact that I am onto my fourth book means I’m getting quite experienced in the process of choosing a cover. Some can be really straightforward and you end up loving both options for the first draft that it’s hard to choose (like book 3!), some can take up to four rounds of drafts (like book 2!) and some of the times, the process can be left so late that you choose a cover that you don’t particularly love but are forced to make a choice (like book 1!).

I know the whole publishing industry can act like a huge secret at times so hopefully, this lifts up the lid a bit, especially for any budding authors!
