The five stages of grief were never intended to be in a certain order. The creator has said that they are not linear and that everyone won’t experience all of them. Some researchers have even added a sixth stage: finding meaning.
Every time you repeat a memory, you distort what actually happened by filtering through your lenses. This is why you shouldn’t repeat your dates and then ask for advice. Stop assuming your friends know more about love than you do. They weren’t on the first date, they don’t know them and they only know your version of the story
